(imagine kids of all
ages dancing to a
barefoot long haired
kilted guy.. Singing
rock and roll.. With
the Rockette look-a-likes
as back up.)
We had 5 year olds
and 15 year olds,
35, 50 and 70...
All gathered and enjoying
and moving to the
music.
In America.. We are
seeking therapy on
all levels.
Why not just vacation
in NZ for a few weeks
every year and dance
your heart out, drink
designer wines and
eat SLOW foods?
New Zealand just might
be the magic potion
for what ails us in
the USA. The wrinkles
start softening, the
inner glow returns
to the outer world..
And you can find your
“inner Kiwi”!

I AM partial to the
South Island but I

West Condo –
Auckland (first time
in a “suite/condo”...
I liked it... With
our “maturing”
sleep habits.. I can
wake up at 4am and
go sit on the couch
without disturbing
my hubbies slumber.
Yes. This is good.
Waitomo – Walk
with the Glow Worms...
In a grotto on a swinging
bridge at night. The
stream babbles below
your feet and the
glow worms are little
blue dots on the walls
of the Grotto on either
side of you. No, not
Disney. Real stuff
that feels like the
wonder of nature capturing
you and taking you
away in a dream.
Rotorua: we stayed
at Princes Gate which
is very pleasant.
The best part of this
visit was hiking in
the thermal valley
(park) known as Waimangu
Volcanic Valley.

BLAST.

The “fishing
tale” - the
ones that got away...
Michael is fly fishing
up river while all
the fish are swimming
by me at the bend..
Go figure. He didn’t
catch one fish...
But with that view..
